Craftsman Architecture
Levesque-Majer House
Although a unique example in Spokane, the Levesque Majer exhibits an Oriental influence that was not entirely uncommon in Craftsman homes in other parts of the country. Oriental influence is visible in the peaked roof line, but the Craftsman style remains evident in the overall low pitched roof, exposed rafter tails, stone foundation and porch piers, and decorative knee braces.
