Craftsman Architecture
Judge Henry & Alice Canfield House
Originally home to Spokane's Judge Henry Canfield and his family, the Canfield House reveals strong Craftsman elements in widely overhanging eaves, exposed rafters and brackets, and massive porch pillars. The house's design also employs abundant natural materials including wood clapboard siding, a basalt rock foundation, stucco and brick.
