Craftsman Architecture
Anderson-Webster House
A product of the Ballard Plannary Company, the building firm responsible for designing and constructing a number of Craftsman homes in Spokane, the Anderson-Webster House displays a number of well-preserved Craftsman characteristics. The home's widely overhanging eaves extend six feet, and the property features the use of basalt in the foundation, porch and side pillars. Subtle details in the bargeboards also convey the sense of decorative simplicity associated with the style.
