Craftsman Architecture
Frank & Maude Tuell House
The Tuell House is a well-preserved example of the bungalow form embellished in the Craftsman style. The form is achieved by the use of a very low-slung roof, and horizontal emphasis is achieved by the port cochere extending to the west side of the house. The home also features exposed rafter tails, modestly decorated porch pillars and a door that stands out as an example of the unique craftsmanship achieved during the period of the Arts & Crafts movement.
